I'm fortunate enough to be writing this from Dubai, which is a city full of good characters for novels. One was my cab driver last night. The Pakistani native could not have been more excited to see me, talking at the speed of a tornado and sweating profusely through his bright linen shirt. Turns out he was excited not by me, but by what he had just seen: the world's most expensive car. He had spotted the $2.5 million Bugatti Veyron outside a marginal hotel, where he snapped three pictures of it with his phone. Of course, he insisted on showing me said photos while racing through the streets of Dubai, narrowly missing a median as he held the phone up and scrolled through the images for me to see. This trip will certainly provide much literary inspiration.
It's just over a month before the release of FINAL CROSSING: A NOVEL OF SUSPENSE. In the last newsletter, I gave you a description of the book. This time, I'm going to let some visuals do the work for me. I'm happy to announce the release of FINAL CROSSING's book trailer, which can be viewed by clicking the image below:
As you will see, it's nice and creepy, providing a good sense of the atmosphere you can expect from the book. Please share the link to the video with all your (dark-minded) friends. And huge thanks to Stephanie Swartz for her amazing work putting it together.
In other news, there is talk of a launch party in the Boulder area in June, so I will keep everyone updated on that. In the meantime please forward this to all your friends and relatives to spread the word!
