Hi, friends. Just in time for Halloween, I have some screaming good news to report. My third thriller, THE COMFORT OF BLACK, was recently purchased by Oceanview Publishing and will be released August 2015 in hardcover and digital formats. My agent, Pam, likes to describe the story as GONE GIRL meets VERTIGO. Here's a quick teaser:

Hannah Parks and her husband, Dallin, are finally trying to have a child, but what Dallin says in his sleep one night after lovemaking rocks Hannah to her core. As she starts to investigate what is a much darker side to Dallin than she ever knew, Hannah unpeels the layers of a diseased relationship much more closely tied to her own abusive past than she could have imagined. Hannah is forced to run, and she needs to rely on the help of a stranger as well as discover her own buried strengths to survive a husband who will kill to keep his secrets hidden.
